speaking with sound

Growing up in a creative household - with Mom always playing an instrument and Dad forever rolling film - I suppose that it was a foregone conclusion I would compose and produce music for film and write and record my own songs. Where other kids' first toy might have been a truck or a doll, my first and favorite was a 20-key plastic piano I was given at 6 years old. I was able to write songs with my own system before my first traditional piano lesson, at 9 years old, by which time music was just like a first language. Music was in fact how I first communicated to my parents.

As a result, my creative process still starts with finding the emotion I wish to communicate, and then giving it a musical voice. I hope this emotional connection comes across it what you see and hear.
